Tommy WaldPresident and CEO
Well known and highly regarded in the North American IT community, Tommy Wald is a pioneer in the development of the modern IT managed services provider (MSP). Tommy started and developed his own MSP in Austin to become largest MSP in Texas at the time, which eventually sold to a large national MSP. He then continued to consult with MSP business owners, technology vendors and distributors. During this time Tommy also established himself in the angel investor community and is a mentor to business startups. He is an experienced thought leader in the IT and MSP communities and sits on the Cloud Executive Committee for CompTIA.
For over 30 years Ken has held key technology leadership roles – focusing on business management, marketing, sales, services, and effective internal systems. Ten years ago he founded an MSP business which has grown to over 170 staff, and is recognized as a leader in the New Zealand market. Ken is passionate about the Managed Service Provider model, has taken learnings from MSP’s around the world, and had hands on experience on what works and why. Ken is highly strategic, a driven and successful innovator with a vision to help MSP’s improve their businesses.
For almost 20 years Ray has held technology leadership roles within the outsourced provider marketplace – focusing on enhancing the business performance of managed service providers. He was instrumental in developing one of the industry’s first remote management systems, and has developed solutions for many leading MSP software providers. Ray’s other accomplishments include building partnerships, acquisitions and founding a software company. Originally from New Zealand, Ray has also lived and worked in Europe and the US.
Mark WoldmanSales Coach
Mark Woldman is in the business of helping others with their business. As a Partner at Xcellerate, Mark is focused on expanding the Managed Service Provider client base and ensuring those clients are positioned for success. Mark has spent over 20 years in IT outsourcing, software and consulting, with nearly half that time working with MSPs. Mark has lectured globally about outsourced IT solutions, and founded his own specialized consulting practice to deliver sales and marketing consulting to IT Service Providers.
Sue has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years focusing on marketing, sales and services. After many years working with vendors including Digital, Compaq, HP and Microsoft providing product and services to SMB customers she went onto work with one of New Zealand’s largest nationwide MSPs in a Marketing Management role. It was there that she became passionate about the Managed Service Provider model and being able to enhance their business performance through sales and marketing programs. Sue is highly driven and shares the same vision to help MSP’s improve their businesses.

Meredith believes Human Resources is a critical function for any organization, and brings her extensive experience across multiple HR disciplines to Xcellerate ’s MSP clients. Her primary focus is to empower MSPs for business success, through leveraging best-in-class HR tools and methodologies. Meredith consults to clients across all elements of HR, such as full cycle recruitment; Compliance; HRIS; talent retention; and Performance Management. She has created global HR functions and held management positions in Fortune 500 and start up environments in technology, non-profit, banking and mortgage finance sectors.
